Abstract

Rad se bavi ideološko- propagandnim aspektima Domovinskog rata. Proučava se izvor
velikosrpske ideje te način na koji je ta ideja bila pretvorena u ideologiju koja je zavladala
prostorom bivše Jugoslavije u vremenskom razdoblju osamdesetih i devedesetih godina
dvadesetog stoljeća. U isto vrijeme u Hrvatskoj je došlo do ponovnog rađanja nacionalizma i
želje za osamostaljenjem i demokracijom. Sukob dviju strana vodio se na različitim područjima,
dakle, konvencionalnim ratovanjem, hibridnim ratovanjem, informacijskim operacijama,
prikrivenim akcijama i medijskim ratom. Rad prikazuje primjere iz svakog od navedenih
područja, te se dotiče poslijeratnog odnosa Republike Hrvatske i Republike Srbije.

Abstract (english)

The paper deals with ideological and propaganda aspects of the Homeland War. The source of
the Greater Serbia idea and the way in which this idea was transformed into the ideology that
dominated the former Yugoslavia in the period of the eighties and nineties of the twentieth
century are studied. At the same time, there was a rebirth of nationalism and the desire for
independence and democracy in Croatia. The conflict between the two sides was fought in
different areas, namely, conventional warfare, hybrid warfare, information operations, covert
actions and media warfare. The paper presents examples from each of these areas, and touches
on the post-war relationship between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Serbia.
