Abstract

Rad se bavi definiranjem otpornosti u kontekstu bitnom za vojnu organizaciju i razlaže
važne faktore koji doprinose i štete istoj. Kroz razvoj društvenih znanosti psihološke su teorije i
pristupi postali sve više prisutni u evaluaciji zdravlja i sposobnosti ljudi. Isti trend se nastavlja, a
rezultat je detaljnija analiza i strukturiraniji pristup detekciji faktora koji doprinose izgradnji
stabilnog pojedinca.
Kao jedan od tih faktora predstavlja se otpornost, koju je samu po sebi najbolje tumačiti
kroz područje u kojemu se opservacije bilježe (npr. otpornost u obitelji, sportu, vojsci...) radi
izražene orijentiranosti na situaciju. Generalno govoreći, otpornost se smatra sposobnošću
osobe da se prilagodi stresnoj situaciji, što i daje naglasak na okruženje i pojedinca.
Primjereno mjerenje otpornosti i korištenje metode pristupa stresnim situacijama uvelike
poboljšavaju stupanj otpornosti pojedinca jer daju konkretan okvir za razvoj otpornosti. Ovakva
standardizacija i poznavanje iste donosi organiziraniji pristup problematičnim situacijama i
povećava vjerojatnost pozitivnog nošenja s istima. Rad će tako prikazati značaj izgradnje
otpornosti kao i metode te intervencije u službi istoga.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes resilience in the context important for the military and discerns key
factors that benefit or harm it. Through the development of social studies, psychological theories
and approaches have become increasingly present in the evaluation of the capabilities and health
condition of people. This trend continues, and the results are a more detailed analysis and more
structured approach to the detection of factors that contribute to creating a stable individual.
Resilience presents itself as one of those factors and it is best described through the area
where its observations were made (i.e.resilience in the family, sports, army...) because of its
prominent situational orientation. Generally speaking, resilience is defined as the ability to adapt
to a stressful situation, which clearly highlights the emphasis on the individual and the
surrounding.
The adequate measurement of resilience and the right use of the methods by which we
should approach stressful situations greatly improve the degree in which the person manifests
their resilience because they provide a basis that we can apply to most cases. This
standardization and its mastery allows for a more structured approach to problematic situations
and increases the chances of positively dealing with them. This paper will therefore show the
importance of resilience and display the methods and interventions in support of it.
